PUC-Rio hosts the IV Conference on Foreign Relations by Fundação Alexandre de Gusmão

On november 17th, 18th and 19th, at the RDC Audithorium, at PUC-Rio, it was held the IV Conference on Foreign Relations (CORE), by the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (Funag) in partnership with the Institute of International Relations (PUC-Rio). This year’s theme was “Brazil and the Trends in the International Scenario”.

Over the three days, many academics and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated on the panels. Ambassador Mauro Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs, contributed with a lecture, that was read by Ambassador Sergio Eduardo Moreira Lima, President of Funag.

The CORE offers a space for reflexion about the diplomatic thinking and the Brazilian foreign policy in integration with the academy.

Held by Funag in partnership with Brazilian universities, the CORE brings together diplomats, academis, professors and students from Brazil and other countries interested in foreign policy affairs. The goal of these debates is to enlarge the comprehension of this theme and to promote the analysis of priority questions of the Brazilian diplomatic agenda.
