Gustavo Alvim de Góes Bezerra

PhD Candidate in International Relations at the Institute of International Relations of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (since 2017), has a Master in International Relations from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2013), and a Certificate in Public Policies at the Economics Faculty of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2015) and under-graduation in International Relations at IRI/ PUC-Rio (2008). Since 2017, is Deputy Secretary of History of International Relations Theme Area of the Brazilian Association of International Relations. My research interests are History of International Relations, Theory of International Relations, History of the Atlantic, 19th Century and Slavery. Due to a period working in the Court of Accounts of the State of Rio de Janeiro, themes of public policy are also on his specter of interest.
